How To Clean Your Yeezy Boost 350 or 350 V2's

What's the point of owning a pair of Yeezy Boost 350 or 350 V2's if you're scared to wear, or get them dirty? We've put together a guide that will help you clean your Yeezy Boost 350 or V2's, so you can finally rock them out with confidence knowing you can return them to a fresh, clean look very quickly and easily using our awesome guide.

It's pretty simple really, cleaning your Yeezy Boost 350 or 350 V2's will be like cleaning any other shoe, you just need to be careful, gentle and allow our tips to help you.

The In-depth Route (recommended!) -

The In-depth route will provide you with a sneaker that looks super fresh, almost brand new! It requires a little bit of money being spent on shoe cleaning equipment, but will provide you with a better finish overall that will keep your Yeezy Boost 350's cleaner for longer.

What you will need:

- Yeezy Boost 350's (or any other shoe - still works!)

- Jason Markk Cleaner, Crep Protect Cleaner or one of these.

- Shoe Cleaning Brushes (We use this, but you can use this too)

1 - Remove insoles and laces from your Yeezy Boost 350 or 350 V2's and put them to one side.

2 - Prepare a bowl of slightly warm water with your cleaner of choice (we use Jason Markk - links above, but you can use any other shoe cleaner you wish).

3 - Begin by wetting your harder bristled brush in your water/cleaner mix and begin scrubbing your sole. It's likely your sole will take quite a hard scrub to remove all dirt, so dont be afraid to be hard with this. Make sure you DO NOT touch the primeknit of your Yeezy Boost 350 or 350 V2 with the hard bristle brush incase you damage it. Continue to dab your brush in the water as you go along the sole to ensure you aren't adding dirt back to your shoe and the cleaner is working on your sole.

4 - Rinse and wipe off the sole and sides of your Yeezy Boost to ensure they're clean.

5 - Prepare your softer brush with water and place your hand inside the Yeezy Boost. Use your hand as a surface to scrub the primeknit and quickly scrub the material whilst regularly rinsing your brush with new cleaner. Continue round the entire show avoiding the inside.

6 - Dry the Yeezy Boost 350 off either in a cool place or a slightly heated radiator (not too hot otherwise you risk ruining the Yeezy Boost primeknit material).

7 - Place the laces in a bowl of water & small part cleaning liquid. Allow to soak for 20 minutes then begin to scrub with your softer brush slowly.

8 - Place the insole back in the shoe once dry, re-lace your Yeezy Boost 350 and BOOM.. Just like new!

9 - We recommend coating with a water repellent spray (Crep Protect, Jason Markk or LiquiProof all work well and we highly recommend) once cleaning to prevent damages to the shoe.

The Quick Route -

Obviously there is always a shorter, almost as good route to almost everything. And when it comes to cleaning shoes, there is. This route does provide a quality finish all over, but is a little bit riskier, and isn't going to clean your shoes as well.

You may have heard of using your Washing Machine to clean your shoes before, and this quicker method uses just that.

What you will need:

- Yeezy Boost 350's (or any other shoe - still works!)

- Washing Machine

- Pillow Cases or Wash Bags

- Small bit of Cleaning detergent

1 - Remove insoles and laces from your Yeezy Boost 350's and put to the side.

2 - Make sure insoles DO NOT go in the washing machine and put the laces inside a pillow case or wash bag to ensure they don't get tangled around the shoe once in the washing machine.

3 - Remove as much debris or mud off your Yeezy Boost 350's as possible, so clumps of dirt don't end up going round your washing machine with your Yeezy Boost's whilst washing.

4 - Place your Yeezy Boost 350's inside a wash bag or pillowcase individually (one for each) and put inside your washing machine after following step 3 and removing debris.

5 - Keep your washing machine on a very low temperature (30 degree or LOWER) so the primeknit of your Yeezy Boost 350's, or the glue on the sole doesn't melt. Use a very small amount of cleaning detergent in your machine (half as much as you usually would for a small load), you aren't washing a full load!

6 - Remove your shoes and allow to air dry for at least 1 entire day to ensure your Yeezy Boost 350 is completely dry before inserting insole again and adding laces.

7 - Boom! The rest is magic... Enjoy your almost completely new, CLEAN Yeezy Boost 350's!
